AMERICA'S CONTRIBUTION TO PHILIPPINE HISTORY

Today, we sat in Mr. Smith's History class. They were learning about Philippine history. Mr. Smith was talking to his class about how the Americans oppressed the Filipinos after the Spanish American war. The Filipinos were not happy about this, they thought they were free after the Americans beat the Spaniards. The Filipinos rebelled and vreated a new fighting style called Arnis. It is a method of fighting. It is mostly fighting with sticks. Arnis is a way to fight aggressively.

The play The Frogs by Aristophanes is one of the only complete examples of Classic Comedy. The play starts off with Diosynus on his way to the Underworld. He must decide who is the better poet between Aeschylusand Euripides. Diosynus picks Aeschylus and the play ends with all of them leaving the Underworld.
